AutoPilot Education

AutoPilot is the largest salt chlorine generator manufacturer for pools and spas in the world. And for this reason, we take pride in our educational system. We believe every technician, installer and dealer should be versed and skilled in their chlorine generator knowledge.

Flight School

AutoPilot has a course that is available to all Team Horner Employees and Customers, wherein they can learn the basics regarding AutoPilot's Salt Chlorinators. This course gives the Employees and Customers a better understanding of how to install, operate and troubleshoot the systems, therein allowing them to better assist their customers in the operation of their systems. The Tuesday following each Flight School, Ground Crew Training is held.

Ground School

Ground Crew Training is a specialized hands-on training session performed in the field at various local job sites. This provides each student the opportunity to perform troubleshooting techniques directed by a Factory Authorized Technician.

Ground School is a technically oriented, combination classroom and hands-on, AutoPilot chlorinator training seminar. This one (1) day training program is designed for pool and spa service professionals already engaged in the business of installing, troubleshooting, and repairing pool & spa equipment. Likewise, this course should prove equally useful to Customer Service and Sales agents who typically assist customers in diagnosing AutoPilot systems or site related problems. To participate fully (though not absolutely necessary), some knowledge of basic electricity, and the use of an electrical test meter, is helpful. Course material is specific to AutoPilot chlorination systems.

Prerequisite: must have previously attended AutoPilot Flight School; otherwise, the program administrator (the AquaCal AutoPilot Technical Training Manager) may grant admission based on a documented and verifiable broad knowledge of AutoPilot products.
